QIS is fully-accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and has recruited a dedicated, professional, and experienced faculty primarily from the United States, Canada, and Europe, as well as a team of qualified local teachers for the Mandarin and Chinese Culture program. The lower school curriculum (preK-5th grade) is derived from accepted models used in international and North American schools.
