Qingdao MTI International School (QMIS) was established by the MTI (Management Technologies International) Education Foundation, Inc., an American non-profit corporation committed to educational work in China, which includes establishing international schools for expatriate children and promoting cultural understanding and exchanges.

Teaching in English and using an American curriculum and system of study, QMIS offers a full educational program from pre-kindergarten through grade 12, as well as English as a Second Language instruction.
